Today in Eau Claire there are colder temperatures then after recovering from last nights winter storm. The sky is overcast with no sunshine. There might be some lingering rain and snow events this morning. The strong northern wind is keeping Eau Claire cold. Wind gusts could get up to 20 to 40 mph today. Temperature highs should only reach low thirties today. The surface map in Figure 1 shows that Eau Claire is located in a Low pressure system today, which attributes to the cloudy skies and snow.

Tomorrow's Forecast:
I believe the cold and blustery weather conditions currently being experienced in Eau Claire will hold for the rest of the day with continued overcast skies. I expect the skies to clear and the sunshine to return for Easter tomorrow, but temperatures should remain cold. Tonight temperatures are expected to drop significantly below freezing. In Figure 2 it is shown that temperatures tonight in Eau Claire should be around 8°F. long term forecast shows that Eau Claire is expecting more snow early next week on Monday and Tuesday. Here's to hoping April brings some warmer weather that actually feels like spring! But is looking like the first days of April will not be bringing spring conditions.
