Today in Eau Claire there are colder temperatures than yesterday. Temperatures this time of year are typically in the low fifties, but we have only been near those temperatures once this year. Today will be no different with highs only reaching mid twenties today. After midnight tonight extra cloud cover should move in and light snowfall should begin as shown in the surface map in Figure 1. Strong northwest winds have brought even greater chill values to the region.

Tomorrow's Forecast:
I believe the weather conditions currently being experienced in Eau Claire will last the rest of the day. The weekend is predicted to remain cold as well. Winds should be lighter on Saturday with a sunny sky. A large high pressure system is expected to be in the area, preventing temperatures from rising above thirty.
